Wales

20,760 square kilometers

Wales is bounded on the north by the Irish Sea, on the south by the Bristol channel. Across the Menai Strait is the Welsh island of Anglesey. The Cambrian mountains cover most of Wales, with the high point at Snowdon, (1,085 m). The eastern rivers - the Dee, Severn, and the Wye - drain into England. The Usk flows into the Bristol Channel.
