Originally a fourteenth century manor house which, at its' height, included 300 acres of farmland. The house and outbuildings have been converted into  self catering and bed and breakfast accommodation, combining original beams and stone-work with modern comfort and convenience.
There are eight self catering cottages, providing comfortable accommodation for 2-6 people. Each have a fully equipped kitchen, including electric oven and hob, fridge and microwave, a TV and video, comfortable beds and bath and shower.
Low season prices £230.00 to 430.00 per week.
Peak season prices £295.00 to £540.00 per week.
Prices include electricity, linen and towels.

On site facilities include outdoor, heated pool, small gymnasium, games room, aromatherapy treatments and clay pigeon shoots. Nearby, there are riding stables, plenty of local country walks - including one from the farm itself - fly fishing at Blagdon Lake and a host of other activities - all of which can be organized on your behalf.
Within easy driving distance you will find the Menbdip Hills, Bristol and Bath, Wells, Cheddar, Wookey Hole and Glastonbury.

The Malt House is a comfortable and delightful self catering holiday cottage situated near the border between the counties of Devon and Somerset, in the heart of Exmoor National Park (an area of outstanding natural beauty situated in south-west England). The self-catering holiday accommodation offers the perfect base for recreational activities such as walking, cycling, fishing, sailing, hiking, riding and painting, for exploring pretty local villages such as Dulverton, Dunster, Winsford, Exford and Porlock, and for simply enjoying Exmoor's beautiful valleys, moorlands and coastline.

The accommodation, ground floor, is full of character: The living/dining are has ancient beams, an inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove and a well equipped kitchen. There are two comfortable bedrooms one double and one twin bedded and a well appointed bathroom.

The Malt House

The Malt House was part of the old 'Hare and Hounds' village inn and now shares a cobbled courtyard with the owners' house. The ancient village pound, with lovely views over the Exe valley, forms the Malt House private sunny garden.

Located opposite the 16th century church in the quiet North Somerset medieval village of Wick St Lawrence, Somerset Court is the ideal place to relax and 'get away from it all'. The cottages have been tastefully converted and renovated from original stone farm buildings and offer high quality accommodation following full refurbishment in 2002. They retain charm and character, yet provide modern comforts and facilities.
