Wester Lix - Group Accommodation in the Scottish Highlands Remote Accommodation in the Scottish Highlands

The Steading now sleeps eight plus two extra - preferably children by
arrangement - we don't allow ten adults. The Steading also has new
french windows - leading onto decking and a new sauna suite. Heather
Cottage - now called Jonna's Cottage also has new french windows leading
onto decking. This cottage sleeps six - not 6/8
We also have The Farm House - sleeping four - a large cottage fully
refurbished and is the original Farm House at Wester Lix - being approx
200 years old - as is The Steading.
We also now have two more cottages at Wester Lix - Leabhainn Cottage -
sleeping six and Beech Cottage sleeping four.

Some 200 years ago Wester Lix was a farm and 2 of the properties date back to this time. It now provides an ideal location for a comfortable and peaceful retreat being located in a remote and secluded forest clearing, but at the same time within easy reach of nearby villages and local amenities and being less than 2 hours drive from Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Tigh an Eilean is a 300 year old cottage which has been fully re-furbished and modernised and provides every comfort you would expect from an STB 4 star facility.   The cottage has stunning views over the famous Falls of Dochart which flow through the quaint village of Killin.

Charges are between £200 - £400 per week.

As you enter the cottage there are two bedrooms with views over the Falls, one is a twin bedded room, the other a double with king-size bed. A shower room (with WC and washbasin), kitchen and dining room.  On the upper floor there is another large bedroom (king-size bed and single bed), which has a spectacular view over the Falls and also to the rear garden.  There is a full bathroom with shower over the bath.  A large lounge, again with the most spectacular view of the Falls (seats 10 very comfortably) and a small glazed sunroom leads out to the rear garden.  The garden is fairly large, very “cottagy” is has a gas BBQ and views to the hills and also Ben Lawers and the Tarmachan Ridge.

Walk up to enjoy the scenery of Loch Turret (3 miles); walk over a field to Glenturret Distillery to taste the whisky at Scotland’s oldest Distillery (1 mile) ; or walk over to the many facilities of the Crieff Hydro: including riding, tennis, Scottish dancing etc (2 - 3 miles).  Fishing and golf are right on your doorstep. Well behaved pets are welcome.
