Originally an 18th Century water mill, The Mill has been lovingly converted to provide high quality ETC 3/4 Star accommodation in a relaxed setting.  Its secluded location straddling an arm of the Windrush is an ideal starting point for country walks or taking a 5 minute stroll to Burford High Street’s antique and tea shops, pubs and restaurants.       

The five fully equipped cottages and apartments have their own unique character.  Ranging form Tail Race Cottages (sleeps 5) which inside, has a cosy lounge with a log burning stove and outside, a riverside patio; to Lime Tree a studio apartment high above the millstream with small balcony and views across the woods, it also has a sleeping platform for 2 children.

Two apartments look out directly onto the millwheel - fed from the sparkling waterfall by the central courtyard - which sometimes turns slowly at other times recklessly fast. Opposite a grey wagtail nests in the stone wall; a kingfisher also frequents this stretch of the Windrush.

While Burford’s central position makes a excellent base for touring the Cotswolds, Oxford and Cheltenham are only half an hour away with Stratford and Warwick Castle only slightly further a field.
