Cursons Cottage has recently been renovated to a very high standard, and is situated in the centre of the village of Snettisham. The cottage is next to the owner's house and is built of local carrstone and chalk with a traditional Norfolk pan-tiled roof.

Hidden down a long country lane discover eight spacious cottages tastefully converted from traditional Norfolk flint barns. These cottages are impeccably maintained and features include exposed flint walls, beams, wood burners and a four poster bed. All cottages are very well equipped and have colour televisions, video players, microwaves, hairdryers, radios and CD players, 5 have dishwashers.

 

Outside there is a superb play area with zip wire, wooden climbing frame, trampoline, swings, tree house, large slide and loads of grass to play games on. There is even 1959 David Brown tractor for imaginations to run riot on. New for 2004 were 4 Go Karts.

 

Inside there is a games room with a pool table and dart board; football, basketball, badminton and table tennis can be played in one of the barns

 

Wood Farm offers quiet country walks and magnificent views surrounded by trees and fields; and is convenient for visiting the coast , Norfolk Broads and Historic Georgian  Holt. The Three Pigs pub is only 15 minutes on foot.

 

Cottages sleep from 2 to 6 people. All cottages are no smoking.

This comfortable FIVE bedroom family house sleeps 11 (plus cots).  It provides and ideal base for touring the region and lies within easy reach of Norwich (12 miles), Diss (15), Wymondham (10) and Bungay (8).  There is a typical country pub within a short walking distance.

The house is secluded and very well equipped.  Upstairs, there are two bathrooms with showers, two twin bedrooms with own whb, one double bedroom with own whb and a family room with double bed, single bed plus space for cots if required.  A sun balcony with patio furniture leads from this room.

On the ground floor; entrance hall, dining room, large sitting room, twin bedroom, farmhouse style kitchen with dishwasher and separate scullery with microwave oven, auto washing machine and dryer, cloakroom/toilet. The games room is adjacent to the house.

Duvets, bed linen and towels are provided.  Electricity by £1 slotmeter but Night Storage and AGA heating are included in the hire price during the winter months.  Children and pets (by arrangement) are welcome.

 

Turkey Row Cottage

The large private garden (mostly grass) provides ample space for outdoor games, BBQ and garden furniture.  The surrounding country lanes are ideal for rambling, cycling, and horse-riding.  A licensed grocery, butcher, post office and garage are located in the main village (2 miles.  There are facilities locally for swimming, tennis, golf, riding and other sporting and recreational activities.  The many attractions throughout the year are within easy driving distance to suit all ages and varieties of activity.
