DAIRY COTTAGE
A peaceful romantic cottage for two, located in the tiny rural hamlet of  Whasset. Circa 1600 and listed in the Royal Commission of Historical Monuments it is a building of interest. The cottage has been  renovated to provide all modern conveniences whilst preserving all its character with exposed beams, mullioned windows and a stone flagged floor. It has gas central heating and a coal effect fire in the lounge. Annually inspected by CalSa, the Cumbria and Lakeland Self Catering Association, the high standard of the accommodation is assured.

It is perfectly situated for those wishing to explore the Lakes and Dales . We are close to the renowned bird sanctuary of Leighton Moss and the Kent estuary, which is of international importance for wading birds.
Near are places to visit, such as Sizergh Castle, Levens Hall with its famous topiary and the old market towns of Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale.

There are many local Inns providing excellent food in pleasing surroundings and from some one can enjoy the breath taking sunsets across the Kent estuary.
We have private parking for one car and over half an acre of garden for visitors to use and in which to relax. We are sorry but do not accept pets and the letting is for the use of two people only.
