New Dyke Farm House is a Georgian detached cottage style farmhouse, set in two acres of private garden and paddock with plenty of parking. Situated on a private drove adjacent to the bank of the tidal stretch of the River Nene, along which the famous Nene Way footpath runs from Northampton to the Wash. A private garden gate gives access to the path and riverbank offering plenty of opportunity for walking, bird watching etc. Wisbech town centre is a couple of miles easy walking along the riverbank. The front door opens into a panelled hallway with stairs. The comfortable lounge has an open fireplace with a Much Wenlock Multifuel Stove. The dining room has a good size table with chairs for family meals, plus an adjoining small library/office. The rear entrance to the cottage is via the utility room with doors leading to both the downstairs cloakroom with toilet, hand basin and power shower cubical; and the fully equipped kitchen with an oil fired Stanley range providing hot water and radiator central heating as well cooking, there is also an electric cooker, microwave oven, dishwasher and family size fridge/freezer. Adjoining the kitchen is a breakfast area, with table and chairs.
